The September 2026 issue of the Tartan Patch looks back at Exercise Arrowhead Guardian 2026 in Grayling, Michigan, where 83 RHFC soldiers joined 70 Lincoln and Welland soldiers to form a 153-member Tactical Grouping — the largest troop presence at the exercise. The issue also highlights recent mortar and infantry training, including the Rank Qualification Infantry Private (RQIP) course and graduation parade, an Infantry Section Commanders Course graduation, and several promotions. Also featured are an interesting historical discovery about the 1st Armoury in Galt, updates from the Honorary Colonel and Commanding Officer, and plenty of photos showcasing another busy training year for the Regiment.
