The focus of ARROWHEAD GUARDIAN 26 is defensive operations. Among other lessons, soldiers are training how to dig in, prepare obstacles, manage the battlespace, and protect the force from drones. Although defensive ops are the focus, offensive tactics such as patrolling also play a vital role in force protection.
With five new tactical groupings (three infantry, one armoured, and one artillery), 31 Canadian Brigade Group is standing strong! Tactical groups are key to Canadian Army modernization and will increase operational effectiveness, training efficiency, and readiness.
Although operationally combined, regiments will always maintain their distinct and proud regimental histories, uniforms, and ceremonial functions!”

As we transition into the fall training cycle, I am incredibly proud to look back on a historic and highly productive summer for the Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada. Our soldiers, and leadership have demonstrated exceptional dedication, navigated major structural transformations while maintaining peak operational readiness.
