The culminating battle of Ex ARROWHEAD GUARDIAN 26 did not disappoint!!
Stand-to was called at dawn as instructors deployed rocket flares and artillery simulators. Opposition Force (OPFOR) role players launched their attack, but 31 CBG’s tactical groupings rose to the challenge! The Light Infantry Battalion (LIB) Group (Gp) repeled the attack, while 31 Cavalry Tactical Group supported.
For the 31 CBG LIB Gp, the OPFOR and all other AG26 participants and planners, the exercise has again provided valuable lessons learned – lessons which are always applied to shape a force that is STRONG, PROUD and READY: The Canadian Armed Forces!!!”
